I've been making the majority of my daily clothes since the beginning of high school, and have made many things both wearable and not-terribly-wearable. There's a fairly clear transition during my years in college from a very wild high school aesthetic that had no fear of polyester, to something more historically inspired and in fact violently averse to polyester.
